Hooning letter response from Des Lacy re police response to protect the community. Discussion with Snr Sargent Andrew Godbolt, Officer in Charge at Coomera. Advice to residents was to not interact, consider an in car camera and share with police, seek alternate route, ring the Hoon Line (134666) or alternatively re Crime Stoppers (1800 333 000)
Brenda talked some more re hooning, emailing her, etc.
Hooning to be stopped via no parking signs and yellow lines. Alternative outlets for hooning activities are not likely to stop it. Subscription to police blog for daily updates. QPS Facebook best resource for info. Youth event in June: go karting and climbing. Support sought for Sr Const Hurley, via email, etc re the recent events of car chase on Gold Coast.

Council put a lot of work into planning, hydraulic testing, etc.
Behms road dust problem. Visibility is affected. Hotline to report dust problem. Member and residents are asked to report. Increase of truck traffic.
Dust may be based on silica which is a known health hazard.
Qld Gov set up new department investigating dust problems on quarries re silica, etc.
Works on Hooth road is a pipeline from Calypso bay to treatment plant

5 callouts this month with a tractor fire and a caravan explosion with one occupant being hurt.
Open day Sunday 14th June 10:00 – 14:00 Members invited with other units attending. Urban truck from Beenleigh attending. Should be an exciting day. etc.
Volunteers sought from locals for quick response.
Community Variety Show at Upper Coomera $5. Bus? Once a month

- About abandoned Insight development and difference to new development. Block size reputed to be 500sm. More information to be made available. Development application being considered by council.
